Drumming on Album

Just a little while ago, I was the drummer for a friends album. It was more of a country album, and while I am mainly a rock drummer, I had a very fun time. In order to prepare for the recording process, I had to purchase new drum equipment. This is what I had to say when I announced the album: 

Pleased to announce I am drumming to a few tracks on @aidan.ogier’s new album Sister Margaret, out March 1st. He put tons of time into writing these songs and I am happy I could help with this project. Excited for the release! :)

I was very excited to play shows to help the release, but then COVID-19 hit. All the shows were cancelled, but hopefully they will be rescheduled. Our first gig was going to be at White Oak music hall, a prominent venue in Houston, but that was cancelled. Anyways, the album was great and I had fun playing the drums!

Setting up new music studio

 Luke Kirchner Music Studio Today I set up a new music studio. I added fantastic lights to the background, to make it look really good on camera. I setup the camera, which is linked up to the computer and recording. I also miced up all the drums to get a great sound from the drums. I plan to start streaming on a platform called twitch, and also make YouTube videos of me playing. I am setting up all my social media platforms so I can reach as many people as possible. I would love to get to the point where I start making money, but who knows! It was great setting them up and I look forward to the content that I will make in there.
